In light of Senator Obama's recent endorsement of the 2008 FISA Amendments Act (HR 6304) - a bill that undermines the rule of law and infringes on the civil liberties of all US citizens - I can no longer in good conscience endorse his bid for President of the United States.
This is no politics of change, it is the continued erosion of the bedrock principles upon which our nation was founded.
I am profoundly disheartened at having to retract my previously enthusiastic endorsement.
